due to the wonders of modern technology I've jsut finished a conversation with Doyle Wheeler. Really nice man to talk to, he enjoys seeing his grand kids and writing poetry and books in aid of helping people and the homeless, naturally some UM related topics came up and I was able to get the following from the very frank and honest Mr. Wheeler

On The Huberty Case:
"I had order our sniper to shoot him someone that wasn't
at the scene countermanned my order it
resulted in 26 minute delay and five girls got killed during the delay"

"I couldn't stand by and watch it happen so I stood up and took a bullet in the head for it."

"I raised a stink in the department
No they were two busy covering their butts"

which led to Sigon Penn case...
"Same thing with Sigon Pinn
they wanted to rail road the kid to the gas chamber
rather hold the racist cop that caused it all accountable"

"Sad part was the kid stayed in San Diego
they hounded him every time he turned around finally he
killed himself so everything I went through was pretty much for nothing."

"he committed suicide about five years ago"

AND on the Donavon Jacobs case which Mr. Wheeler was more than happy to discuss...
"about three year after happened an
informate identifed Donovan Jacobs room mate as the sergeant that hired him to carry out the hit. The FBI put him on lie box and said he fail so no investigation."

"A lieuenant at the PD started his own investigation and found the informate was claiming he had been paid 2700.00 and two kilo of coke well he found there was 2700.00 missing from Sema but found he could not account for so they fired him."

"Never any prosecution of either of them"

Very nice and content man to talk with and I hope this is an interesting read for you all
