I want to thank everyone for all your words of encouragement and good wishes when I went for my promotion. I didn't get it, but the lady I interviewed with said the only reason was lack of experience. She said I gave a great interview and would love me to apply for an entry-level position in her department. Well, if it wasn't meant to be, it wasn't meant to be. I gave it my best shot, and I really had nothing to lose. I guess I'm glad I went for it anyways. :wave:

Yes, it is a bit of a Catch-22, when trying to get a job. You don't have the experience but how are you going to get the experience if they don't give you a chance??!!:crazy:

At least you came out of the interview looking great to where the interviewer wanted you to apply for another position!!:rock:

Even if it is entry-level, you can prove yourself to this company and I can see you moving up in the ranks in no time!!

Going through this experience was definitely a good thing for you and I'm sure you will benefit from it in the future. Knowing that the only negative was lack of experience and that you gave a great interview should give you lots of confidence going forward. I'm sure you will be moving up the corporate ladder in no time! I would wish you luck in your future but I don't think you'll need it!
