TVFactFan 09-13-2009, 05:23 PM Campbell has to improve and what better way to get practice than to play the YAMS-lol
That Giants Defense and Running Game is Tough. I think we will have problems next week too
Big C 09-13-2009, 05:24 PM This is either good news (Brian) or bad news (Garfield).
TVFactFan 09-13-2009, 05:34 PM Well the skins just scored on a Fake FG so now they have Mo-mo going into the half. Now can Jason campbell come out and do his job?
TVFactFan 09-13-2009, 06:35 PM Skins don't score TD's on offense, just FG's-lol
17-10 Giants
TVFactFan 09-13-2009, 07:10 PM Redskins just could not get in the endzone
Big C 09-13-2009, 07:24 PM The Rams will be an easier opponent- Redskins at least showed effort, while Ramona's team clocked the Rams.

But Marc Bulger remains employed
Brian Damage 09-13-2009, 07:51 PM You heard it hear first, Eli Manning is a better qb than Donavan Mcnabb.
TVFactFan 09-13-2009, 07:59 PM You heard it hear first, Eli Manning is a better qb than Donavan Mcnabb.
Well that means they should beat the Eagles then. You know I will look for you if it doesn't happen
Brian Damage 09-13-2009, 08:00 PM Well that means they should beat the Eagles then. You know I will look for you if it doesn't happen

They look strong on the ground and defense but you know Eli has that tendency to mess up. But the Giants Defense looks stronng

I was very disappointed with the playcalling. These run plays when we are backed up are not going to cut it against the Giants. Then, we need a better pass rush, Eli had all day to throw. They need to have more confidence in Jason Campbell. Let him throw. The O-Line looks the same. We had a chance to win, everytime we had a decent drive going, we got penalized or turned it over.
BTW, the Rams aren't a guaranteed victory. Remember, we gave them their first victory last year.

Yeah I remember that 3rd and 8 play and when Campbell handed the Ball off I was like-HUH???

He has a SUPER BOWL RING and led a legendary drive to defeat an unbeaten Patriot team.
Sol, you need to get over this perception that things are meaningless unless you beat the Eagles.

Sorry Sol, I don't base Eli's success on the Eagles.

This is a what have you done for me lately league, yes he has a SB but they still need to prove they can win in the playoffs, no matter who it is

NFC Championshp Game and beat the NFC east champs Giants to get there???
Wreckless 09-13-2009, 08:52 PM That fight with Moss and the Giant guy was crazy. The Giants player almost snapped Moss' head off. It could of paralyzed him.
Brian Damage 09-13-2009, 08:53 PM NFC Championshp Game and beat the NFC east champs Giants to get there???
Did he win a SB???? NO!
The Eagles wound up playin golf and watching the big game on TV just like the Giants so don't go there Sol.
Wreckless 09-13-2009, 08:56 PM Eli Manning is still not worth 100 million, I don't care what you tell me.
Their are 13/14 better QBs then him anyway. Brother Peyton should of gotten that money, not Eli (and it has nothing to do with me hating the Giants. He is not even close to being worth 100 mil).
The Redskins even overpayed for Hainsworth as well.
GARFIELDKOOL 09-13-2009, 08:57 PM That fight with Moss and the Giant guy was crazy. The Giants player almost snapped Moss' head off. It could of paralyzed him.
Corey Webster. Yeah, it was pretty heated.

I agree. Eli is definitely not worth it, and neither is Haynesworth. I hate when we sign these player from other teams to hefty contracts because it has been proven in the past that they don't pan out.
Wreckless 09-13-2009, 08:59 PM Corey Webster. Yeah, it was pretty heated.
they got tangled in the WEB
yeah man, I thought he was going to ring his neck out like a dish cloth. I was like oh sh*t, I don't know if Mike is watching this or not. started with a few slaps, and got progressively worst as the moment continued.

We even overpayed for Asante Samuel too. All 3 are great players, but NFL GMs think they have to give money out, and pour it on like it's gravy, when how ever much, on the minimum scale, a player wants is what you should give them. a big signing bonus is fine, but all this extra money, even for big name players is crazy.
Brian Damage 09-13-2009, 09:02 PM He's worth it to the Giants and that is all that matters.

But you asked-"lately? Lately means last season right? And how much longer can you keep saying Eli has a ring? That was 2 years ago, he can't live on that forever. Just ask Brad Johnson-lol
Wreckless 09-13-2009, 09:12 PM He's not worth 100 million dollars, Brian. Nobody in the NFL is. Ok maybe Tom Brady and Peyton Manning. Besides that, I can't think of too many players.

Lately means you've actually accomplished something right?
Wreckless 09-13-2009, 09:21 PM Lately means you've actually accomplished something right?
accomplishing something doesn't only mean you have to win a superbowl lol.
it could mean, getting your team to the playoffs. winning playoff games. thus he has accomplished things recently.

Eli has

LOL???
i've done all of that
you have
but yeah, I know what you are saying, and you are right. i think you think Eli is the best QB in the league, just because he won a SB though. He did a hell of a job vs. New England, and had an outstanding GW drive to win the SB for the Giants, but he is nowheres near worth 100 mil dollars, and isn't one of the best QBs either.
Btw, Donovan has done that. he got his team to the playoffs and won playoff games last year.
TVFactFan 09-13-2009, 09:25 PM He's done all of that

TVFactFan 09-13-2009, 09:58 PM Sol, the bar isn't raised for the Eagles
I didn't say anything about the Eagles. I just want to let you know that just because you win a SB you don't get a pass for the next 5 years.
SB in 2007
Eliminated in 2008
Now if they get eliminated in 2009 will anyone in NYC still be talking about the 2007 SB in 2010?

Probably. That's all they care about.
Wreckless 09-13-2009, 10:06 PM Solomon, I didn't know Tony Dungy was on the SNF half time show. I thought it was just Bob Costas, Harrison and Matt Millon. Or is Millon a MNF half time analyst? Nice, I love Tony Dungy.

Yeah they will get fines. Did you actually see the play, or did you just hear about it, or saw the replay later on/highlights?
Big C 09-13-2009, 11:24 PM Solomon goes on and on about Eli not beating Philly in two playoff games, completely ignoring the fact that they beat some quality opponents the year they won the Super Bowl: a good Tampa Bay team, two very good teams in Dallas and Green Bay, and a Patriots team that seemed to score at will.
Wreckless 09-13-2009, 11:29 PM Not to mention the Pats were 16-0, 18-0 in general when the Giants beat them in the SB. Ah oh well.

That was 2007, this is 2009. I don't live in the past
Wreckless 09-13-2009, 11:37 PM Solomon about the Panthers last year, the season didn't start until today, so you still would look at what they did previously to this year, if this year hadn't started yet. it didn't until 1 oclock. it doesn't change the fact that we beat a very good team. we beat a 12-4 team.
