I was just watching the episode where Rose's granddaughter Charley appears and I can't believe it's been 12 years since she passed away. I remember I was a kid when she died in the 90s. I always thought she was a good actress as a kid :(

The actress that passed away is named Bridgette Andersen. Bridgette also starred in "Parent Trap 2" and another movie in the early 80's called "Savannah Smiles".

She is in the episode where Rose has to reveal what is in her husband's will to her daughter and the granddaughter comes along.

Bridgette was damn good when she was given meaty parts to work with. She deserved a better script than what TGG gave her. And better clothes from the TGG costume department.

Bridgette's story is a sobering reminder of how, if you are young and foolish, sometimes you do not get a second chance.

I hadn't realized she passed away. Very sad and unfortunate.
