The Emmy-winning drama series about Texas high school football, "Friday Night Lights," returns for its fourth season at 9 p.m. on Oct. 28, when it will be broadcast on DirecTV's Channel 101, reports Ohio.com. NBC will air those fourth-season episodes sometime in 2010.

Series executive producer Peter Berg directed the season's first episode.
