What's wrong with this picture? Besides the fact that someone would just be hanging around Solider Field watching paint dry. Reader Matthew R. says his "friend" snapped this picture last week before the Bears final exhibition game. Great googily moogily! Why can't Jimmy The Groundskeeper read?

Fortunately, the Bears open at Green Bay so they still have an extra week to figure out what went wrong and hire a new painter. Or maybe, since it's Chicago, they can find a corrupt building contractor to pick up the entire stadium and move it five yards.

They need a week to figure out what went wrong? Um.... okay.... I'm sure there are a lot of people who could tell them right now, unless they want to try and figure it out for themselves!!!! Might take longer than a week, though!

To me it looks like a white outline of the Chicago Bears' wishbone "C". (Of course, it looks like the Cincinnati Reds' "C", too. But I digress!) What's wrong with it?

What's wrong is that it is centered on the 45 yard line. It is supposed to be centered on midfield, which is the 50 yard line.

I think the logo painters, instead of thinking about The Bears, had maybe concentrated on "Da Beers."
