It looks like the D.C. market is getting the Cowboys game. I figured they'd show the Eagles. :woohoo:

I don't know for sure yet because the schedule hasn't come out but I'm 95% sure this is the NFL schedule for this week in the Philly Market

1pm-Eagles at Panthers-FOX
1pm-Jets at Texans-CBS
4pm-Redskins at Giants-FOX

Why do we have to get Jets games when it comes to AFC teams? I guess CBS in Philly figures that everyone will be watching the Eagles on FOX so it's no need to put a good game on CBS at 1pm

Probably. But it would still be nice to watch a good game, in between Eagles-Carolina commercials. Sure, I'm missing the whole game of a great AFC match, but it works better for me. I don't really care though now lol- football is football and it's back.

Well I just saw an ad on my tv saying that direct TV is giving a free preview of the NFL Sunday Ticket on Sunday. That would be great. :woohoo:

Uhhh....maybe because you are close to the NY/NJ market being in Philly. Hey, I will be getting that game myself.

Philly is not close to NYC, the last time I checked it takes 2 hours to get there. Philadelphia has it's own Market and their fans should not have to watch Jets games.

Now when I lived in Hartford, CT, I got Jets and Giants games because CT had no Football team which made sense.

Btw, I don't know why they wouldn't show Philly games in CT either. Sounds stupid but their are A TON of Philly fans over in CT. I see CT license plates @ Phillies games, and tailgating before Eagles games, when I'm around town or near the stadiums.

It doesn't matter, it is still in that region. From what I know, there are a lot of Eagles fans that live in New Jersey. You are closer to them than I am, and I'm getting that game also.

And CT would be Patriots town for that matter.
