Shirley Jones is set to play her real-life stepson David Cassidy’s mother, just as she did on “The Partridge Family,” on Cassidy’s new show “Ruby and the Rockets” on ABC Family, ET Online reports.

Jones will appear in the upcoming episode entitled “50 Ways to Heave Your Mother.”
