Out of all of "The Flintstones" cartoons, the one I remember best was when the hillbillies came to Bedrock to make the Flintstones lives miserable. It seemed like nothing can send them back until the hillbillies ran off when they heard that annoying singing "He said, yeah, yea, yeah, whoo!" It was BUG MUSIC that scared the hillbillies out of Bedrock.

I like all of them! Especially the one where Fred and Barney are running from Dr. Sinister! Also the one where Darrin and Samantha from Bewitched appeared.

My favvorites are:

1. "The Monster from the Tar Pits", in which Fred, for the first (but not last) time gets taken through the wringer by show-biz.

2. "The Swimming Pool", the series' pilot which introduces Fred and Barney to the world.

3. "Overeater's Anonymous"...Fred on a diet...be afrais, be VERY afraid...(GOINK! GOINK! GOINK!)

4. "Rock Roll", in which Fred has to fill in for an ailing rocker and lip-synch's to a skipping record (the "needle" went to sleep...in the middle of a rock concert!)

5. "Baby Tex"...Barney as a baby, Fred being hassleld by a nosey old busybody ("Those new rock purses are MURDER!"), and Baby Barney on the freeway...a classic.

6. "Grandma Dynamite"...the nanny from HELL...or Folsom State Pennetentiary...

7. "Hi Fi"...Fred as a singing idol...another instance of his being boned by show-biz...

8. "The Flinstone Frantic"...Fred drops a bowling ball on his foot and starts a new dance craze...

9. The episode where Wilma and Betty follow the boys to a posh ski resort and end up as bikini-clad beauty contestants (Wilma and Betty in bikinis...mmmmm)

10. "The Hawaiian Eye" episode, where Fred pretends to be super-athelete "Barney V.I. Flintstone"...and nearly gets killed by a rabid dinosaur for his trouble. The ultimate "getting-boned-by-showbiz" episode!

A Haunted House Is Not A Home.

Maybe it's partly nostalgia for me, but the first time I saw this episode wasn't on TV, wasn't the full episode, didn't have sound, was in black and white. It was on 8MM, and went under the title 'A Haunted House'. As a kid we had a whole bunch of movies and TV show episodes on 8MM that you watched on obviously an 8MM projector, that was also my introduction to the movie Mighty Joe Young. All of these were shortened way down.

I was amazed when I saw the episode the first time on TV and realized it was the same one I saw on 8MM, but longer, color, with sound!
