Andrew Keegan is an actor who was in the movie "10 Things I Hate About You" and on the TV series "Seventh Heaven".

He was one of the big teen heartthrobs in the 90s for these of us born in the mid-80s and earlier.

Marvo mentioned a couple of his works... but these were after his teen heartthrob days. He was in a -lot- of stuff in the mid-90s..

I am surprised by this. He doesn't seem like the type. He hasn't done much acting in the past few years.

Andrew Keegan just went from being known as "that guy from that thing" to "that guy who might have abused his girlfriend...who used to be in that thing."

And if that's the alternative, we're guessing he wouldn't have minded toiling in obscurity a little bit longer.

Keegan, best known for playing a cute dad in 7th Heaven and a cute jerk in 10 Things I Hate About You (he's rangey), this week found himself on the receiving end of an abuse allegation. His ex-girlfriend, model Kristi Parrales, requested a restraining order against him, claiming he terrorized her for more than a year.

And not just by subjecting her to his body of work.

Per the order request , filed in a Santa Monica court on Monday, Parrales claims she was physically attacked by Keegan twice, the most recent being on July 4, when the '90s heartthrob "threw me across the living room in front of witnesses," leaving her scarred and bruised on her back.

Parrales also claims that Keegan regularly patrols her work, calling her names and giving her "evil looks."

Who knew the stink eye warranted legal action?

Still, Parrales says the latest unwelcome stop came just last week (when Keegan, incidentally, claims he was in Las Vegas), when the actor allegedly slashed the tires of her car after a bouncer tossed him out.

She's asking that he be ordered to remain at least 100 yards away from her. So as long as she hangs out near casting directors' offices, she should be fine.

He's never been in trouble before. I'm hoping there's more to this story, because in a few days, Keegan may look just as bad as Chris Brown.

hasty judgements without really knowing the truth behind such allegations-
the Duke Lacrosse players case should be a reminder of that.

Ahhh...Camp Nowhere, which featured 2 of my all-time favorite General Hospital stars, Genie Francis and Jonathan Jackson. Husband and wife Genie Francis and Jonathan Frakes played...husband and wife. :D

Oh man, I loved me some Jonathan Jackson back in the day, too! He's another one who was a teen heartthrob, too... He and Andrew Keegan appeared on the cover of teenybopper mags quite often 15 years ago. :) (personally, I was hot for Jonathan Taylor Thomas, but he's not who this thread is about. LOL!)

This thread/Camp Nowhere discussion has made me realize I haven't seen Jonathan Jackson in anything in AGES. :eek: I see he's been in "The Sarah Conner Chronicles" recently, and is wrapping up work on a movie, "Kalamity." Should be interesting to see what he looks like now, at 27. :)

I still miss him as Lucky on General Hospital - not to mention Genie Francis as Laura!! JJ was THE definitive Lucky (the son of Luke and Laura) - neither of his successors have even come close. He married Lisa Vultaggio in 2002 (who played Hannah on GH) and they now have 2 kids. I'll try to come across a recent photo of him and post it on the Soaps board.

He did an episode or two of Moesha aswell, weve never heard of this type of thing in the past from him so I do tend to find it odd hed start getting violent know. On a similar note whatever happened with Devon Sawa I remember hearing rumours years ago he was gf beater but nothing ever came out in the media about it.
