If you just watched the crowd while Whitney Houston performed in Central Park on Good Morning, America today, you might have thought that Whitney was doing great. However, if you had the volume on, you know better.

Sadly, Whitney Houston's GMA appearance was sad. Her voice cracked and she seemed to be struggling to sing one of her biggest hits, "I'm Every Woman," which ironically was used as the theme for The Oprah Winfrey Show for years. I say ironically because Whitney explained to the fans at one point that her voice was a wreck because she had talked too much during her appearance on Oprah earlier in the week. Ouch!

The entire appearance was enough to make you cringe. At one point, Whitney called her daughter, Bobbi Kristina, out to the stage to sing with her. Bobbi has grown into a beautiful young woman from the teenager she was on Being Bobby Brown, the infamous Bravo reality show starring Whitney and then hubby Bobby.

Ugh, I can't stand Whitney Houston. She was okay in the 80's but even then the only songs I liked were "How Will I Know" and "The Greatest Love of All". The latter song was our class song (at church) when I was a senior in high school. She's really gone downhill, though.

I honestly think she's done in show business. Even without Bobby, she's a train wreck.

It would have been nice if she was able to make a successful comeback, but I can't see that happening. It doesn't seem like there's any way she could possibly handle a tour anymore.

^ If she can't handle an appearance on GMA, no way could she handle a tour.

She sang pretty decent at the Grammy Party this year, although you could tell her voice was different. Hopefully, she can do other live performances better than the GMA Performance.

I think singing has gone downhill since Mariah Carey's success, and I wish more singers would (try to) imitate Whitney Houston in her prime (not now, of course lol), instead of Mariah Carey, but I would still much rather listen to Celine Dion sing, than either of those two...
