my other thread stirred a memory in my head of a case where a mother is looking for her kid, a small kid, in sort of a rough neighborhood, and i think it was a case where she was driving around in her car asking for information. It was sort of implied that one of the kids did something to her child.

It wasnt that case of that college kid who was maybe involved in drug dealing and his car ended up in some garage. That wasnt the case. And it wasnt the gary grant jr case.

Anyone know of any cases like this?

There was the case of Dimitric Moore. He was a little boy who went missing and was eventually found in the trunk of his mother's car. She thinks some neighborhood kids were playing too rough and did something to kill him unintentionally and covered up the crime and put him in the trunk. I think she was suspected of the crime at one point but if memory serves me correctly she was acquitted.
