it seems to me a huge portion of the crimes profiled on UM, involve crimes where people didnt mean to harm or kill another person, and then when they do, they cover it up because they are scared. Obviously there were the cold blooded killers profiled on the show and premeditated murders, but the cases I refer to are for instance the Kurt Sova case, the case of that boy at the circus, alot of the police corruption segments, Gary Grant jr etc...
How often do you think this happens?
What was most interesting to me were the kids who covered up crimes. Obviously it sort of makes some sense that if you were a kid and something happened, soemthing went horribly wrong like the kid at the circus, or gary grant jr, the tommy burkett where kids had the help of police in the coverup, you would be scared and not know what to do. But how often do yout think these things happen?
We often hear stories as kids about monsters who sole purpose is to kill us or harm us. We are warned about strangers.
What facinates me about the cases I am refering to in this thread, is that alot of these cases were just situations gone way out of control and out of hand.
