Comedien Joy Behar says she believes it is more than okay for women to beat the crap out of their men, because, as she puts it, "it keeps men on their toes and shows we're not wallflowers!" She's against domestic violence against women at the hands of men, but thinks domestic violence against men at the hands of women is a good thing. I don't think domestic violence of ANY kind is a good thing, so this is seriously messed up!

Exactly, that's what I was trying to get at. I think when people dislike a show or person or whatever, it's easy to go "ohh, they just said something bad! hatehatehatehate." I've only watched the show a couple of times, but what I got from her personality is that she's just a huge wise ass. I don't think many people would say something like that on national tv and mean it, because obviously they'd get crap for it.

I can't stand The View. Joy is annoying and her statement is pretty stupid. There are women in who abuse their husband and boyfriends in a cruel manner.
