I have been sick since last Monday. It started Monday night with a sore throat and then progressed to runny nose, congestion, stuffed up nose, cough, sneezing, tiredness, and cold and sweating.

edit: I went to the doctor. I have a sinus infection. I guess at least know I know what's wrong. I have to get some medicine filled to help get rid of the infection.

Definitely a cold.

I have had the real influenza back in 2002 - the one people get the vaccine shot for. It's 1000x worse than a cold and tummy bug, combined. I'm only 24 now and it usually takes me a month to fight off a routine cold because I had the good 'ole mononucleosis in 2006, and it did weird things to my immune system.

I think it is The Flu but if I was you I would go to the doctor with The Swine Flu going around.

I'm not sure if I have had a fever or not because I've been taking NyQuil and that has Tylenol in it.

It could be a chest or sinus infection. I have a sinus infection now, which I thought was just a cold, but it just didn't go and I had constant pressure in my face and eyes.

Go see a doctor and I hope you feel better soon. :)

Sinus infections can last for days. I have had too many to count. Take vitamin C 4 to 6 times a day when you have an infection, get a humidifier and do a nasal wash morning and night. Nasal washes can be gross but I got used to it and they work. Now I haven't had a infection in months.

I not only have a sinus infection but also stomach flu. BLAH!! Jenny, you have double my sympathies!!

Sorry you've been feeling so bad. Several people I work with have also had the same problem. It's probably some type of pollen that's causing it to be so bad here in our area. Hope your medicine kicks in & gets rid of it quickly.

Oh Monica that is terrible news, I'm really sorry to hear it. They cut way back on the hours where I work & I had to take a second job at a restaurant to help make up the difference. Can you draw unemployment while you look for another job? I'll keep you in my thoughts & prayers.

Well, I will get severance pay. Beyond that, I don't know. I HOPE I'll find something else before having to go on unemployment.

^ Hopefully you'll be able to find something soon. But if not, drawing unemployment while you look isn't so bad. With all those taxes they take out of our paychecks it's only fair we should get a little back in the form of unemployment benefits. But you may find something right off the bat & not have to go through the hassle of all that.

All I can say is, it's in God's hands. I have faith that as rough as these next few weeks will be, it'll turn out for good.
