"Sonic Boom" by KISS is the 23rd studio album by the group and the first album of new material since 1998's "Psycho Circus".



KISS is currently composed of Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Tommy Thayer, and Eric Singer.

"Sonic Boom" is Tommy Thayer's first studio album with the group. He played on the 2003 live album "KISS Symphony: ALIVE IV"

Eric Singer joined KISS in the 1990s and played on the albums "Revenge", "Carnival of Souls: The Final Sessions" as well as "ALIVE III" and KISS Unplugged".




The album will be released along with "KISS Klassics". This is a 2008 re-recorded greatest hits album of the older KISS songs with the current line-up.

Also coming with the album is a live DVD with 6 songs taken from the Kiss Alive/35 World Tour and a 20 page booklet.
