i don't know if you know this already but on you tube there seems to be an increasing number of users creating music videos using chipmunk like- helium voices. of course, this is done by altering the pitch of the original singer. there also genuine songs taken from the chipmunks albums such as 'chipmunk rock' and 'born to rock'.

question i want to pose to you guys is- what do you make of people creating chipmunk versions of rock, pop, rap songs by changing the pitch of the singers' voices?

I have seen a few of those videos and the chipmunks of certain songs are funny. I would rather see/listen to the chipmunk versions of songs than the Kidz Bop versions.

yeah, i'm with you on this. at least those songs on the chipmunks albums are the real thing- not those hip hop ones where they give off the impression that it is by the chipmunks when they are not. hell, on you tube, they even stick a few images of alvin, simon and theodore. sad.

Most of the chipmunk videos on youtube have pictures of the Chipmunks. I bet once The Squeakuel hits theaters there will be tons of Chipettes videos.
