In case you were wondering what happened to Grant Goodeve (David), I'm happy to say that he is living in my part of the world! I have yet to see him, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed! He's been doing this show called "Northwest Backroads" for several years now, and as an avid traveler, I try to watch it as much as I can. I found this bio on him that I thought I'd share. He's still as good-looking as ever, BTW!!!;)

I've never seen Northwest Backroads but I have seen David from time to time on Evening Magazine.

"Northwest Backroads" is an awesome show! They had one episode a few years ago talking about a trip you can take called "Tent and Breakfast". It's kind of like camping, but everything is provided, and apparantly the tents are a lot more comfortable than "regular" ones. What's cool is that this takes place in Mt. St. Helens. They take you on these vans to places in the volcano that most visitors can't go to if they just visit the park. I would love to do this; especially since I did my high school Senior term paper on Mt. St. Helens.

I couldn't find an actual schedule but here is a link for NWCN (Northwest Cable News), and hopefully you can find a schedule for your area. This site has some segments from the show, however. http://www.nwcn.com/nwbackroads/
