The stations around here play the same thing day in and day out so maybe some stations that I've never heard before might provide a change of pace. Link your favorites Just make sure that they have streaming audio. Any format is welcome but I personally prefer classic rock, metal and classic country. I'll start with the station I'm listening to now.

I'm not sure if you'll like this, it mostly soft rock, but the things I like about this station is they don't talk over the songs(it drives me crazy when DJ's yakety-yak over the beginning & end of songs), and they always tell you the title & artist of the song(just in case you're not sure).;)

Also, they play songs that you probably won't hear as often, like I'm always happy to hear them play "Somebody to Love" by Queen, although our classic rock station plays that once in a great while.

Then at Christmas, they do 36 hours of Christmas music, but instead of playing the usual dreck that everybody else plays, they'll play songs by Queen, Extreme, Greg Lake, and songs from the artists that are in their vast library, as opposed to the small amount of songs that played over & over & over again on other stations. I wanted to mention this because I love Christmas music while I'm happy when the radio stations start playing them, after a while I get so tired of hearing the same songs, or the same songs but a different artist. Maybe it's a good thing WMMO only plays 36 hours of it!!
