I just have to say that I am fine with Michael Vick doing his time and being able to play in the NFL. That is the law, and I don't disagree.
But, the way ESPN and everyone seems to gloss over the fact that he is potentially psychotic is beyond me. Take the same guy and make him your neighbor and your are seriously pissed.
I don't pretend to know if he had an epiphany (look it up children) or if everyone around is just so blind to his apparent wacked out deviant tendencies that they think it all simply went away because the guy needs a contract.
Would Andy Reid let this guy date his daughter (hypothetically)? No? Of course not.
So now we have the idea that a lot of people know he is mentally f-ed and let him play. And then we go to the Espn people just gushing about him, it's like the apocolypse. Wake up people. Your opinion is not ESPN - they are not the end all of sports conversation.
Michael Vick- who admitted to personally electrocuting and choking and drowning multiple dogs -over and over and over and over - is all over that pyschologically? Not killing, executing. Do I have to emphasize? He did it over and over and over again.
I'm just saying, Vick can play and go on, but he is still the same guy who did what he did. No jackass in any other job, in any other community- ever- would be given this much benefit of the doubt.
It's not about dogs, it's about the mentality.
You letting him in your house?
A lenient prison sentence doesn't cure mental deviancy.
There are going to be thousands of people knowningly cheering on a nutjob-
congratulations to you all.
