Who are some people that you would never ever want to friend on sites like Facebook?

Bosses. Wow....I don't know why anyone would want their boss to know anything more than what is said at work. Gah, creepy. But I have co-workers who have friended our boss. I just find that odd.

Yeah, I can see that. But I do have a couple of FORMER bosses as friends, whom I used to work for and we're still on very good terms.

Former bosses I can see more than current ones. I guess I've just never been all that super friendly with any boss I've had.

I think it depends on your own circumstances. I know people who are very tight with their bosses, so I guess it all depends.

Do you immediately change the channel when he comes on your TV?

Anyone I went to school with. You treated me like garbage and ignored me from kindergarden until high school graduation; why the hell would I want to be friends with you now?

And the fact that he's doing car ads increases the creep factor, so maybe an object or two thrown at the TV would be good too. :D

We've got this local dealership owner who does commercials and he's the biggest weirdo in the world. Always looks like :D and he's way too hyper about selling Fords. I found out a couple weeks ago that he's the ex of a good friend of my aunt's, so now he's even creepier! lol

 no but i nearly lost my lunch:eek:
it was kind of funny because i had the tv going kind of as background noise while i did my chores and all of the sudden i heard this familiar voice and i walked over to the tv and there he was acting obnoxious as he is in real life:lol:

theres also another car dealership that this bully who i went to school with his family owns and now that he's a grown man he's entered the family business and he does commercials as well. so there's a lot of channel changing in my house

I have a few former coworkers as friends on Facebook. I would never friend a boss or people I barely knew in school.

No wonder people can't stand local car dealership commercials!!

Most of my exes. Most of them were pretty kinky, and I'd be afraid that they'd reveal something embarrassing about me to all my friends and family members. I think my friends would lose all respect for me, and I'd never be able to look my relatives in the face again!!

I feel the same way. I was on good terms with most, but there are quite a few that to this day, I would ignore even if they were on fire.

More than you could ever imagine Marvo!! Infact, sometimes when people compliment me here at SO, or in real life, I feel like saying
If only you all knew the truth, you'd be saying the opposite about me. I mean, I've never murdered anyone, and I don't go out at night slashing tires or anything, but I have done many bad things in my life that would shock many people to say the very least. In the words of Charles Barkey, I am definitely not a role model!!!

Relatives and friends. I keep my online and offline lives completely separate. It's better that way.

Agreed. The last thing you need is your parents/siblings/cousins knowing what goes on in your personal life between you and your friends.

Yes that, and bitching about them here or somewhere else in cyberspace, lol.

I've read that people have gotten fired over that sort of thing.

Yeah, like that one picture someone posted in Courtnee's funny pics thread. Added her boss, then complained about him. DUH.

I have my boss as my Myspace/Facebook friend. We get along really well and even if we weren't working together, we'd be friends.

I couldn't imagine having, uh, Charles Manson as a facebook friend. But uh, I don't even think he has one.

I'd friend my boss if she was on. I have a wonderful boss, she's more like a surrogate mom to me :)

Any of my current coworkers/managers. I don't socialize with you at work, why would I want you on my facebook? I also don't have my work info listed and nobody in my networks can see my page. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

My exes. Not ex-boyfriends per se, but ya know. I have only one ex as a friend on facebook - but we've always been on good terms, so he's the exception to the rule.

And now thinking about it - no more former teachers. I have a good number of my former teachers on facebook and used to have more, but they only deleted me and not the rest of our mutual friends. Oh well, most of them were bitches anyway. LOL

For me it would be any of my ex girlfriends or anybody I went to high school with (with a few exceptions).

I would never add people who add me on Facebook and I have no clue who they are.

People from the first school I went to have been sending me friend requests lately. Since they weren't nice to me back at school I've ignored their requests. I'm pretty sure they just want to check out the pictures and information on my page.

None of my teachers remember me I'm sure, but yeah, I don't think I'd add them either. I have some friends who did friend a teacher at our HS whom I never had, and boy does he make weird comments. Slighty freaky.

I would never friend a former teacher either. I saw one of my high school teachers on a friend's Facebook list and I thought it was sort of weird.

obviously spammers and advertisers selling goods and services. i'm sure there are a few around. also, ex- high school bullies, teachers, pupils, students from school, college i never got on well with at all. i wouldn't want to be friends with these people. and if they tried to contact me online, i'd send them a message telling them how they made my life hell, briefly that is and block them afterwards.

although, ideally it would be better just to say nothing and block them.
