a new girl started at the shelter, she's a case manager and is very young in her early 20's. she seems like a very nice girl but i can't believe the outfits she wears to work. yesterday she came in with a pair of very tight, skinny jeans on, a t-shirt that had a pop art looking comic character on it, her hair was in this spikey mohawk style and she had these very large 80's glam earrings on. she looked like a cross between tina turner and jem. i think the outfit would be cool outside of work but it didn't seem very professional.
am i old fashioned? would you wear that to work in an office setting?

I agree with you Kim. That doesn't sound like an appropriate outfit to wear to work. It sounds like a great outfit to wear to a club or to hang out with friends but not for work.

I wouldn't, but what she's wearing doesn't sound like my personal style anyway.

The outfit sounds wierd to me for an office. Doesn't your workplace have a dress code. I would never come to work in jeans or a tee shirt-

How does everyone else in the office dress? Maybe you can pull her aside and give her some advice? :)

I agree in an office setting people should dress appropriate.
