What kind of cell phone plan and network do you have? What does it cost you?
Do you have a good amount of free minutes?
I'm looking into, cutting the ties, and going for paying for my own cell phone. I need a plan that gives me time to talk to people, does anyone have any recommendations?
Thanks for any feedback and help.
I've been with Verizon for the last four years (after having been with Sprint the previous three), and I like it. The coverage is great where I live, and the plan is pretty reasonable.
I just entered a new plan: my fiancee and I are on a family plan. It's $99.00, and we get 700 peak minutes per month between the two of us, plus unlimited nights (9 pm-7 am) and weekends, and unlimited text/pic/video messaging. Not a bad deal, especially considering we're saving $30 from the previous setup (I was on Verizon's $79.99 plan, and she was paying close to $50 a month for Ghettro... er, Metro PCS).

Thanks AKA! And i'm going to ask a stupid question- what do peak minutes mean? :o
Anyone else like to share out there? Kind of a desperate situation any help would be appreciated. :)
"Peak minutes" refers to anything outside the night and weekend "free minutes" periods.
