Has anyone on this forum actually met any of the cast memebers of whats happening:talk: if so then tell about your experience.

I wish! If I could have only picked one, I'd have loved to hang out with Shirley Hemphill -- you can tell she was a riot!

I have met the entire cast. They were all wonderful. Years ago, I would go & visit Mable at the MPCH. The 3 kids still appear occaisonally at autograph shows!

I find it mind-boggleing that someone could do something worthy of being banned two days after after he or she joined!

I didn't formally meet Ernest Thomas, however he was a few feet away from me at the Essence festival where he was taking pictures and signing autographs for 20 dollars. He seemed nice and approachable. He did a whole lot of smiling.

I met Ernest Thomas back in April at a comic con in Anaheim. He was very friendly, nice and easy going. We spoke for a few minutes and I mentioned that his co-star Shirley Hemphill lived not far from where I grew up. She lived in West Covina (with her Mother, I think) and one time I saw her and her Mom browsing throught Bullock's Department Store at the West Covina Fashion Plaza.
