I see reruns of the college years every Friday on TBS in the morning. Leslie was hot back then. I remember Zack wanted to get with her in one episode but Kelly came to his college and they started getting close again. Leslie saw Zack and Kelly kissing and she got upset. What did ya'll fellas think of Leslie? That other girl that was AC Slater's woman was boring. Has Leslie played in anything else? What's her real name? How old is she now?

Eh, she was ok. I prefered Zack with Kelly. They had a real history together. Leslie just seemed like a college fling.

The actress' name is Anne Tremko and she's 41 now. She's been on some other TV shows like Malibu Shores, Wings and Judging Amy, but only in guest roles. She hasn't acted since 2003 though. Make IMDB your friend man

You and me both, isiahthomas! Anne Tremko's performance as earnest but sensible rich girl Leslie Burke on SBTB: The College Years was probably the only saving grace of an otherwise lackluster primetime spinoff of its far more successful Saturday morning parent series. Leslie was indeed gorgeous and very, very attractive, not to mention no nonsense; she really gave Zach a spoonful of his own medicine in the pilot episode...had Kelly not arrived at California University (after NBC added The College Years to its fall lineup as a regular ongoing series in the autumn of '93...due to fan outcry, Tiffani Thiessen agreed to reprise Kelly for the remainder of The College Years' run--thus replacing the departed Essence Atkins, who had played freshman Danielle Marks, in the initial pilot).

Though die-hard fans were delighted to see both Kelly and Zack ultimately rekindle their high school courtship as The College Years progressed during its nineteen-episode run (eventually leading to their inevitable union in holy matrimony in the Wedding In Las Vegas movie), I was very disappointed--not to mention devastated--that Zack and Leslie never had the opportunity to become close friends and possibly romantically involved, were it not for Kelly's unexpected arrival at California University. I would've wanted Zack to distance himself from--as well as come to terms with--his past and become a responsible and respectable adult, with a little help from Leslie.

I had such high hopes for Zack and Leslie's budding relationship; I kept wishing and praying Zack and Leslie would ultimately discover their respective, romantic feelings for each other, especially after Kelly had developed an infatuation with anthropology professor Jeremiah Lasky (Patrick Fabian) midway through The College Years' run. Imagine how interesting it would've been if Zack's level-headed middle-class parents, Derek and Melanie Morris, had opposing viewpoints on Zack and Leslie's relationship with Leslie's filthy-rich folks, Walter and Edith Burke.

And while I'm still standing on top of my soapbox, I was surprised Leslie was a no-show at Zack and Kelly's wedding in Wedding In Las Vegas, nor was she mentioned at all. Though Zack and Kelly's eccentric dormmate, aspiring thespian Alex Tabor (Kiersten Warren), and hulking residential advisor Mike Rogers (Bob Golic) both made cameo appearances, Leslie was conspicuously absent from the ceremony; apparently Anne Tremko was unavailable or unwilling to return for Wedding In Las Vegas (presumably due to a scheduling conflict), even for just a hot minute. Imagine how shocking it would've been had Leslie unexpectedly arrived at Zack and Kelly's wedding at the last minute and finally professed her love and admiration for Zack shortly before Kelly was escorted down the aisle by her father. I guess we'll never know, will we?

Enjoy the remainder of your Hump Day!

My point exactly, vio! While I was skimming through the various threads on the SBTB forum, I quickly noticed that one of the posters, isiahthomas, had posted the same exact thread three different times. What's up with that?
