My little sister Katie's birthday (the 20th). I haven't seen her in probably 2 years (at least), because her mother (not mine, we only have the same dads) is keeping her away from us, but with a turn of events lately, I'm hoping/praying/thinking we will see her very soon. She will be 12 this year I believe, and is getting big. My brother, Dad and I love her very much, and miss her. Sometimes I'm worried about my Dad as a parent, but not around my sister, so I think our luck will turn around soon. Anyways, I wanted to wish her a Happy Birthday, in case I don't see her soon enough to tell it to her face & wish her one. She doesn't live that far away, but their is a court case coming soon where my Dad is going to testify against Katie's mother, for an incident a little while ago, that I know nothing about except for this, where Katie's mother Nicole put my sister in danger. It must of been really bad what she did, because child protectors are filing a suit against her, and her boyfriend who was in the car at the time as well I believe. Anyways, I was hoping everybody could just pray for me. Even if it's something small, I am not asking for much, and I would deeply appreciate it. Or at least wish me luck, and hopefully I will see her soon (we actually almost have the same birthdays- her's the 20th of August, mine is the 22nd of August). Thank You!

I hope you get to see your sister soon, Kyle. At the moment, it's you living along with your Dad, isn't it? And your brother lives with your mother? Is he younger than you too?

I'm sure your sister misses you too and I hope you are all able to see her very soon. Do you have any way of contacting her online, even if you can't see her in person right now? Do you know if she has an email account (12 might be a little young, but these days a lot of kids are growing up using computers, so she may have one.)

I hope things work out and you can see your sister again.

I'm hoping and praying that you and your sister will be able to see each other soon and celebrate your birthdays.

Time flies, and she'll be 18 before you know it, when nobody can tell her who she can or cannot see. I'm not suggesting that you wait until then, just saying that she's getting older. Let's hope the court case has an impact on the situation.

Thanks Michelle. It's me, my Dad and my grandmother, and my brother comes down to visit on the weekends, and more so during the summertime when he's off school. Yeah my brother lives my mom. Yep he's 16. I'll be 21 in a day, so he's a few years younger. He's 5 years younger then me, and Katie's 4 1/2-5 years younger then Ryan (my brother).

I don't know if she has a computer, or an email address. I wouldn't know. She sent us a card when she went on vacation like 2 years ago, with a cell phone number, and we tried calling it a few times, but it was an unreliable contact, since I think her mother canceled the account or wouldn't answer it, if we called, or if my Dad tried calling her. I'm not 100% sure on that though, but it seems a likely thing to happen, considering the circumstances. Yeah she might have an email address, and a computer. I don't know though.

I hope things work out and you can see your sister again.
