How do you see your team doing this season?

As a Bills fan, I see trouble. Not so much the possibility of T.O. blowing up, but rather their schedule- Patriots twice, Dolphins twice, Saints, Falcons, Panthers, Colts, Texans, Titans. Yikes! :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek:

The Cowboys will probably be 9-7 again...maybe 10-6 if they're lucky. I can see it going down to the last game with the Eagles again. The December schedule is brutal again and I have no confidence in our coaching staff. I can really see this team winning anywhere from 7-10 games. Who knows.

Well, the Seahawks have a new coach this year, so hopefully they can at least make the playoffs, although another Superbowl would be nice! They won their first presason game, and I know those don't count, but it gets me excited for this season!! GO HAWKS!!!!

The Browns will suck like they do every year. :mad: :crazy:

Well, I think we will at least win 10 or 11 games. Lucky if we win 13. :D

After last night's Bolt/Hawk game, I just hope Norv was just not showing his cards and the players were just very rusty.

Going to watch the re-play of the game that I recorded since the game was blacked out here.

I'm glad we have preseason games though but I don't know if I'd want it to be shortened to 2 games if it is.

You just constantly show how CLUELESS you are as a NFL fan. It's people like you who bring down the quality of the sports board. The Bills play the Pats and Dolphins twice a year ALL THE TIME BECAUSE THEY ARE IN THE SAME DAMM DIVISION!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I actually think the coaching staff has the most to do with how far the Cowboys will go this year.

If Mike Shanahan was the head coach, I would have said 10-6 and at least one playoff win.

I shake my head at this situation, especially with a new stadium and the lackluster coaching of the Wade Phillips regime.

Beyond success on the field, are you telling me the Cowboys wouldn't have sold more seats and made more money with Shanahan as a head coach?

Even if you throw in the money owed to Phillips it would still have been a win-win scenario.

Yea I wanted Shanahan too. I don't see what another year of Phillips is going to prove. The team has already choked two years in a row. They are a sloppy team under Phillips. They make stupid mistakes and they lack heart. If they didn't have talent I wouldn't be as upset. At least when Campo was coach, everyone knew we were bad. It's just frustrating at times. I'm hoping this team surprises me but after the last 2 games last year, I'm not counting on it.

It's kinda weird though. I mean you look at his tenure with the Redskins and the Raiders, they weren't good players or just had a bad owner and didn't want to play for the two teams.

But then, he's here and he's doing good but that's because AJ is a good GM even if he's a pain in the ass and stuff. He knows how to draft players even though some draft picks haven't done very well.

Well he's getting one more try. More than he deserves if you ask me. The team is poorly coached and I don't see this year being any different. Mental mistakes run rampant on this team. The defense which is supposed to be his specialty can't tackle. What happened with Baltimore and Philly last year was a disgrace. He should have been fired right then. The Cowboys have a new stadium this year and it's probably going to be better than the team. Do I hope I'm wrong? Of course I do. I've been a Cowboy fan since I was 10 years old. I've never been as down on this team as I have been this last year...not even in the 80's when we were losing NFC Championship games. I remained in Danny White's corner...never called for him to be replaced. I stayed with this team in the late 80's when they were one of the worse teams in the league. I remember shopping for Cowboy merchendise back then and salespeople actually laughing at me. I didn't care. It was worth it when we finally won those SB's. The thing is back then you could tell that the team was heading in the right direction. This Cowboy team is going the other way. A lot of it has to do with the coaching. So I hope they surprise me. I am with you 100%. I was adamant about Danny White back in the day and not for one moment in all that childhood football agony did I ever blame him.

I stood by the Cowboys as well, even though I hated Jimmy Johnson coming in. And after going 1-15 I bought tickets and flew to Dallas to see them play a game against the Eagles (in which Randall Cunningham drove them down the field for the winning score, but that is besides the point).

I'm thinking that Jerry Jones will make a move soon.

I think the Eagles will be at the top of the division. I think for the NFC East this season, the standings could go either way but I think the outcome will be this....

Eagles- 11-5
Giants- 11-5
Dallas- anywhere from 7-10 wins, but ultimately....9-7
Washington- anywhere from 7-9 wins, but ultimately....8-8

I see us going to the playoffs obviously, if not through the division, then through the wildcard. I will not expand past that point. I've learned too much about jinxes, to play on to that. Maybe later on I will.
