Marvo301 08-14-2009, 11:41 PM On Family Ties when Elyse gave birth to Andrew. In this episode while Elyse was in labor they flashed back to the births of the three other Keaton children. A very well done episode.

I loved those episodes too.
dlemond 08-15-2009, 12:36 AM WKRP in Cincinnati - "The Baby"
I hadn't watched my WKRP videos in a while and this just happened to be on the disc I put on last week. (In a coincidence, every episode on that disc is one of my favorites).
Thought not necessarily one of the best, it is a funny episode, not sentinmentally gushy, and with a great feeling of the WRKP family and what made the show so special.
MickeyMac 08-15-2009, 03:37 PM The birth of Tabitha on Bewitched
The birth of Pebbles on The Flintstones
McGillicuddy 08-15-2009, 06:35 PM The birth of Tabitha on Bewitched

Rosslover 08-15-2009, 09:39 PM Murphy Brown giving birth to Avery and singing You Make me Feel Like a Natural Woman afterwards...
Designing Women The First Day of the Last Decade of the Twentieth Century ... i love the whole thing and cry when the little old woman dies.
FRIENDS all the births were hilarious Susan Ross and Phoebe locked in the closet and the promise Chandler kept to Monica to give her a baby
Phoebes speech to the triplets and Kidney Stones
Emma s birth and how sweet it was ...Ross bumping his head and saying you have no idea how much this hurts and the looks he got
The birth of the twins was a fitting end to the baby struggles of Chandler and Monica...their happy ending
Heidi Dawn 08-16-2009, 01:19 PM There's a lot of good ones you've all mentioned.
I like it when Lori Beth gives birth to Richie Jr. on Happy Days. Fonzie being the coach is hilarious because he goes hysterical.
Also when Betty Jo gives birth to Kathy Jo on Petticoat Junction. She even had to run the Cannonball because the engineer was sound asleep.
Some of the best births happen when they don't make it to the hospital on time.
bewitchedgirl 08-16-2009, 01:35 PM The birth of Tabitha on Bewitched
The birth of Pebbles on The Flintstones
the birth of tabitha was great loved that show
McGillicuddy 08-16-2009, 04:07 PM I haven't seen it in years, but Robbie and Katie having triplets on My Three Sons, was memorable. They ended up having their own "My 3 Sons".
JulieSomoski 08-16-2009, 04:16 PM My 2 favorite birth episodes are by far from Mad About You, where first Paul and Jamie experience false alarms and all kind of obstacles, and Murphy Brown. Both were very cleverly done.
factsoflife 08-16-2009, 05:01 PM I loved the Step By Step episode with the birth of Lily where Carlo can't decide wether to use drugs or not and she keeps yelling at frank to get the drugs while she's in pain and then when the pain passes yells at him that she doesn't want drugs... HILARIOUS.
my other favorites were all basically mentioned already, murphy brown, desinging women, mad about you, the nanny, family ties...

andress_jade 08-19-2009, 03:18 PM Katie's birth on Dr. Quinn-It was so realistic and memorable. It was typical of Michaela and Sully to get themselves in a predicament. Like having their daughter in the middle of the woods. I loved their reactions after seeing Katie after she was born, it was very sweet.
Little Ricky's birth on I Love Lucy
Tabitha's birth on Bewitched
Adam's birth on Bewitched
Georgette gives birth to her daughter at Mary's apartment on Mary Tyler Moore, I loved that they named the baby Mary Lou.
Nicky and Alex's birth on Full House
Belle's birth on Days of our Lives-It was so realistic and sweet. Marlena and John were bonding over the baby not realizing she was really theirs at the time.
Richie's birth on the Dick Van Dyke Show
The birth of Chandler and Monica's twins on Friends
Emma's birth on Friends
Andrew's birth on Family Ties
Avery's birth on Murphy Brown
I'm sure I will think of more later. I always do. ;)
factsoflife 08-19-2009, 07:10 PM On General Hospital the birth of Georgie Jones was memorable because shortly after being born she was kidnapped by psycho Ryan Chamberlain who was obsessed with her mother Felicia.
Also on GH nobody will ever forget when Lucy Coe surrogate mother for Scott and Dominique Baldwin went into pre-mature labor with little Serena Baldwin.

I just thought of more as I knew I would. I know this thread is ancient but I really felt I needed to add these.
Frasier-When Roz gives birth to Alice.
Frasier-When Daphne gives birth to David. Those were some of the sweetest scenes I have ever seen on a show. I just melted! :loveya:
The Cosby Show-When Sondra gives birth to the twins Winnie and Nelson.
The Golden Girls-When Blanche's daughter Rebecca gives birth to Aurora.
Flintstones-Birth of Pebbles
Perfect Strangers-Jennifer and Mary-Anne give birth
Frasier-Daphne gives birth

I Love Lucy-Birth of Little Ricky
UMFaninMD 09-18-2011, 12:33 PM Avery's birth on Murphy Brown
Mac's wife Quan-Lee giving birth to their daughter on Night Court. Her contractions were so painful she ripped the sleeves off Roz' uniform, who was standing by her at the time.
Punky Brewster, Punky and Cherie were trapped in an elevator while a woman was giving birth and they ended up delivering the baby. At the end of the show, the woman thanks them by naming her son Sean, which Punky suggested in the beginning. She had chosen a really awful name for the baby which I forget, but both Punky and Cherie were horrified at it. :D
The birth of Melody Pond on Doctor Who
factsoflife 09-20-2011, 05:41 PM I just thought of one, on The Cosby Show, the dream episode where Cliff and the guys all give birth to various inanimate objects.
Furienna 09-21-2011, 09:46 PM ^^^
That one was so stupid!
UMfan77 09-23-2011, 09:38 AM Joey Stivic's birth episode on AITF was very touching and funny, too. :)
