Today is the birthday of suspense and horror master Alfred Hitchcock, born August 13, 1899. You can do the math and guess that he's no longer with us, but he left an incredible body of work.

From the movies The Man Who Knew Too Much to Vertigo you could tell that when Alfred Hitchcock created a mystery movie it would be a huge success. My mom has been a fan of Alfred Hitchcock for as long as I can remember and she has Alfred Hitchcock movies and Alfred Hitchcock Mystery magazines and every day my mother and I look forward to watching Alfred Hitchcock Presents on METV because we also like to guess the end of each episode. Although no longer alive Alfred Hitchcock's spirit lives on in fans of mystery novels today and it's a shame you don't see mystery shows like Alfred Hitchcock Presents today because the episodes were so cool to see and Alfred always would have a witty sense of humor in the fun and hiliarious commentaries the show would have before each episode Bestie |
