I use the DVR on my COMCAST Cable box to record episode of THE GOLDEN GIRLS. I watch THE GOLDEN GIRLS on Channel 117 WEtv and Channel 24 Hallmark Channel. Right now, I'm watching "And Ma Makes Three" when Dorothy's mother Sophia tags along on dates with her and her boyfriend portrayed by James Karen. "Larceny and Old Lacey" just came on, and "And Ma Makes Three" just ended. You know the one, where Mickey Rooney portrays Sophia's boyfriend Rocko. You know, Rocko protends to rob a bank, to impress Sophia. And Dorothy says "leave the door open."

Everytime I see Ma makes Three I always think of how Dorothy's date use to star in the commercials for Pathmark grocery store when I was a kid. I never understand why Dorothy didn't call the guy once she realized Sophia didn't need her anymore.

The Mickey Rooney episode was not one of my favorites...not that it's as bad as Empty Nest, Brother Can You Spare a Jacket or Mr. Terrific but it's not one of my favorites. I think my problem is I really don't like episodes where the girls are not the sole focus of the episode.
