Does anyone know of any online sources that have the original abc airing of the show? i know youtube just has the syndicated version.

Ah, well yea the very original airing should probably exist somewhere.
Cant really think of any place where you could download the dvdrips off the german dvd, then at least you'd see the episode in its 24:26 minute glory :p

yea, i've seen on youtube how they have commercials from the original airing. but i have been unsuccesful in finding the actual episode. i really want to see it, but i can't buy the german dvd because i don't have a region free dvd player.

Most DVD players have hidden options to change regio :) or play the DVDs on your comp, there is software to make your dvdrom region free as well without actually modifying it, AnyDVD for instance.

You can get a code online for your dvd player..type in your model number and make here http://www.dvdcodes.net/ I hope you find your code.

well i finally bought the edited season 1, only b/c it was for 15.00 at FYE. so now will be about the time they decide to re-realease it. lol

I interned at the Paley Center for Media in NYC, and I can tell you that both the NYC and LA centers have some uncut season one episodes (including the ORIGINAL pilot with ORIGINAL commercials) in their collection. I've seen them both! If you're in the area, check them out!
