As I read it, RS claims to have taught JFK a thing or two about picking up chicks. I have to confess, I have doubts as to the veracity of the story given that we're relying on Stack's word alone. Also, if true, I challenge the claim that it was the method that was "foolproof", and not the fact that the people involved were a young Hollywood actor and . . . well JFK. By the way, if you mentor JFK on picking up women . . . you're good.;)

Oh brother... I would think that Stack would have a smoother line than that! The whole thing sounds like the nerdy chess club guys finally thought they'd come up a with a foolproof way to score chicks.

And JFK... I don't think he even needed a smooth line. Women seemed to throw themselves at that guy. Poor Jackie.
