It's likely it won't. Blu-Ray is usually offered for newer movies to give that 'detailed effect' that the perfectionists cheer about. Not sure about the newer TV shows though.

Well maybe not right away because the DVD set just came out not too long ago, but another thing worth mentioning about Blu-ray is the amount of material you can fit on a single disc. The complete series DVD set is made up of 34 discs...if you were to transfer that to Blu-ray, you wouldn't need half as many discs. Pretty convenient for storage, especially when considering the amount of space VHS tapes take up. As I mentioned in another thread, you could fit an entire season of most TV shows on a single 50 GB Blu-ray disc, and apparently they're already working on a 400 GB disc, imagine the possibilities for the future...

That does sound neat, especially for those with not much space at home.

Okay, it's a possibility, but I just can't see I Love Lucy having all colorized episodes. Unless they try to make it as accurate as those studio audience who actually got to see the show firsthand.
