This is the type of **** that makes my blood boil because she was obviously fired for poor performance and now being asked to come to ABC to be on dancing with the stars???? I;m so shocked that another network would want this dizzy *b*tch
ABC wants Paula Abdul to dance on over post-'Idol'
The Associated Press
PASADENA, Calif. - ABC is joining the chorus of those seeking to hire Paula Abdul, who said she's quitting "American Idol."
ABC programming chief Stephen McPherson told the Television Critics Association on Saturday that he was "stunned" to hear she'd decided to leave the top-rated Fox series and that he's contacted Abdul, whom he called an old friend.
McPherson told Abdul he'd love to see her at ABC, home of "Dancing with the Stars."
Abdul announced last Tuesday she was leaving as an "Idol" judge following stalemated contract talks with Fox and the show's producers. She said she quickly started receiving "wonderful" offers

She wasn't fired. She quit.

She'd be great on Dancing with the Stars. If she would come on board even as a part-time judge for Len Goodman, I might just start watching. Idol will definitely be different without her this season - I bet if ABC could scoop up Paula in time, DWTS could come out on top of Idol this season.

Pav you are old enough to know that she was given a reason to quit because Fox didn't want her anymore.

So what is so great about her? When she was on AL she always looked dazed, constantly stuttered and most of the time she didn't know where she was-lol

So Fox offered her $8 million for the next season and she turned it down...so Fox didn't want her Solomon? Now Fox wants her for So You Think You Can Dance. Explain that.

If she walked she obviously wanted more than 8 million and Fox probably just feels she is a better FIT for another FOX show like So you Think you Can Dance and like American Idol the way it is with the current judges.

I never saw Amercian Idol and frankly the only show like it I will watch is "Dancing With The Stars" and even then I only watch the dancing. I would say she would be a better fit for a dancing show just because she has a background in it. But I can't vouch for her actions on "Idol".

What you say about Paula is true Sol. But it is also true that Paula was by far the most entertaining thing about that show. I think they are going to regret not getting her re-signed.

I don't have an opinion of Paula, positive or negative. I'd rather they didn't try to work her into Dancing With The Stars though. The judges they have now are awesome and well, 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it'.
If Paula were to sub for one of them on occasion, I wouldn't mind. I just wouldn't want ABC to alter the current judging panel for her (adding Paula as a 4th judge or having her replace one of them, for example). That would bug me.
