A poet named Damon Lloyd Goffe has filed a copyright infringement lawsuit against Oprah Winfrey seeking an astounding $1 trillion, NBC Chicago reports.

Goffe wrote "A Tome of Poetry" which he claims has been substantially used/plagiarized in Winfrey's Internet-published work "Pieces of My Soul."

In a suit filed at the District of Columbia Court on July 31, Goffe declared that Winfrey admitted she used his original works in 2008.

Goffe's lawyers have estimated the damages -- a vast amount -- based on the fact that reportedly 650 million copies of "Pieces of My Soul" were sold online.

That's chump change for Oprah. She's got that in the bottom of her pocket book or in her sofa, lol.
