This article is from today's Toronto Sun and is for "Beverly Hillbillies" fans who want to know what Donna Douglas, the forever lovely Elly May Clampett, is doing today. The article also lists some of her more prominent non-Elly roles. Here it is:

Douglas starred in one of the most memorable episodes of Rod Serling's The Twilight Zone -- the one in which her head is wrapped in bandages after plastic surgery aimed at fixing her "ugliness."

Incorrect, Maxine Stuart was the actress under the bandages but it's Donna's face we see after they're removed.

But it was still Donna Douglas who starred in the episode, wasn't it? At least the featured character had her face, if not her voice and her body-- in which ways Cuyuga Productions may have cheated itself.

Maxine received top billing in the episode and rightfully so. Donna was billed last which I don't agree with especially when most of the ones credited before her had only minor roles. The only exceptions were Edson Stroll and William D. Gordon.

The quote stated that it was Donna Under the bandages which is incorrect but it's rare if Maxine ever gets any credit when an articles mentions this episode because people see Donna Douglas and think it was her the entire time. The odd thing is that Donna's voice was supposed to be dubbed to sound like Maxine but it was decided that her own voice was close enough so they used it.
