I went into work and saw a plate with something written on it that was on the wall in the break room....

Seems a co worker has lost an ipod that has earbuds attached to it...

Hmmmm.... Could this be the same thief that took the Gatorade?

What I don't know is, if the co worker accidentally left it on the table and forgot to put it in her locker, or it was in her coat pocket as she left her coat out figuring no one would look in her pockets or take her jacket.. Or could it have been in the locker where she had it open while she was at work?

I have no idea... Maybe Thursday if I remember I'll ask a manager about that..

Theft in our breakroom was so bad that they have cameras installed! How sad is that? However, I don't know who monitors it. I've asked a few times and no one seems to know. Hmmm....

The co worker has facebook so she has a co worker who is friends with her and me so I sent her a message.

She says she lost her ipod and guesses she misplaced it during shipment. She didn't seem all that worried but she hopes she gets it back.

I don't know how long she has had the ipod for but how much is it? $150 for a generation 4 ipod?

That's a long time to mis-place something since on her facebook page, it showed that she wrote a message about it on August 1st and it was the Thursday she 'lost' it. Thursday was July 30th.

Yeah. Unless she's really mad but there is nothing she can do about it.

I'm wondering if maybe someone found her's, thinking it was theirs and took it. Or someone saw it on the table maybe and took it.

Also the breakroom is kinda small, it's like six to eight feet wide and maybe from the lockers to the wall, 6 to 15 in length. But if you put the refrigerator, round table, some chairs, it looks much smaller and there is a couch there too.

The back room where they do shipment is not that big when filled with boxes and carts for shipment.

Hopefully, she just misplaced it and it'll turn up. It's a shame people think it's OK to steal.

Yeah. I think on Thursday when I go in, to check some places like under the lockers or maybe in some strange place in the break room to see where it could have fallen to.

But you would think that they would have checked those places unless she didn't want to make a big deal of it.

Aw, man tha sucks. I hope her IPOD turns up soon. It's such a shame that people steal at work, of all places. How low do you have to be?
