LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - The NBC Saturday
comedy "City Guys" has been cleared for
syndication next fall in over 80% of the country, according to Tribune Entertainment president and CEO Dick Askin.

Created by Peter Engel (“Saved by the Bell”) and Scott Gorden, Tribune offered the young-adult series at this year’s NATPE for a syndication target date of 2002. But the syndication schedule was pushed up to “meet market demands,” according to a spokesman.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tribune has also acquired exclusive distribution and barter sales rights to 26 episodes of the half-hour animated children's program
"Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd Century" from the WB Network.
