I haven't, but let's hope that if they do release it, they release the entire season in one set, and do a better job than they did on season 1.

I sincerely believe CBS/Paramount has dumped releasing "My Three Sons" for now....an CBS executive just confirmed that season two of "The Lucy Show" & season 3 of "Petticoat Junction" are in the works.....so since "sons" wasn't even mentioned as it was handled so oddly as a two part set, when other seasons with the same episode count were released as one. It seems "sons" was just an expermient and it failed big time, "The Lucy Show" was done masterfully, so better they put the $$$ in making quality products with incredible extras instead of releasing titles with butchered replaced music, etc.

I'll just keep my complete set from I-Offer that I bought years ago. This ridiculous method of waiting forever and chopping seasons in half is why CBS has not got one dime from me for MTS. They did Hawaii Five-O correctly and in a timely manner so I purchased that from them.

Well, it looks like CBS DVD and Paramount will continue to ignore our requests for full seasons of "My Three Sons." It was announced that Season 2, Volume 1 of "My Three Sons" will be released in late February.

Here's the story and the cover art:

"My Three Sons" is one of my favorite shows of all time and I'm disappointed that it is being treated this way. I also think it's unfair to charge us so much money to get a complete season - especially when the music will probably be replaced again.

I don't understand why any show with 30 minute episodes needs to have seasons split into two volumes. It just doesn't make any sense. Except of course to give CBS a reason to charge us more money!

I'm glad they haven't abandoned the series, but it's still frustrating to have the seasons split in two.

I'm glad that they aren't abandoning the season too. I wish the would put a whole season too, but a 1/2 season is better than none. :)

Splitting this series is ridiculous, esp in light that no other sitcom from CBS is being done this way! I have yet to buy season 1 volume 2.....

I am so frustrated and befuddled about this. I received vol. 1 as a Xmas gift, and I too, never got vol. 2 because I refuse to buy it. I would think alot of retro-tv fans would feel the same way. WHY DO THEY DO THIS??? Contemporary shows of MTS, The Lucy Show, Petticoat Junction, and The Beverley Hillbillies were released as full seasons with nostalgic extras. I purchased all these, and love them. Furthermore, at the rate they're releasing sets we'll never see the complete series (12 seasons) in our lifetime!!!!

How do we communicate with CBS/Paramount??????
