It is always on anyways. When one channel gets rid of it, another picks it up. I love this show and can get it when I want to watch it. So why buy it on DVD. It's not like there loaded with extras, and what parts can but cut out? Most seasons where on when the networks started downsizing the amount of time a show is on. Such as a frist season ep may last say 24 minutes, and season 11 ep may last 22. Correct me if I'm wrong. So why buy the DVD if it is on all the time? BECAUSE I WANT IT!

I see you have over 100 posts, but I haven't noticed you on the board, so welcome! I hear ya about the DVD's but it's so tempting not to buy them, isn't it?;) I have all the Seinfeld and Full House seasons on DVD and I STILL watch them on regular TV with the commercials!

I've got most of the DVDs - Seasons 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11. I'm in the UK, however, where Cheers isn't widely aired, so I need the DVDs to be able to watch it. I don't have cable TV and it isn't being shown on any channels I get, and hasn't been for quite some time.
