Just wondering if anyone knows what happened to him. I know there were to be some hits out on him as profiled in the episode, "Mistake Hit" but I wondering if "they" ever got him or if he is still alive?

Considering the change of presidential administrations over the years. I would imagine that Don Devereaux is safe.

If he were killed it would draw more attention to his claims. Much easier to ignore him when he does not have all the information.

That's a good point. I felt that the UM segment he was in was hard to dispute the ties. Certainly to many it my seem coincidental but had he been harmed after that publicity certainly there would be substantial evidence of a tie between his cases and the others. Certainly this was one of the most infamous stories UM covered and one that I would like to see updated one day.

I am happy to report that Don Devereux of Unsolved Mysterie's episodes about the deaths of Charles Morgan and Doug Johnston is very much alive and well. Don Devereux currently resides in Tempe Arizona. Don Devereux is still an investegative Reporter who today is mostley investigating the murder of another Investigative Reporter called Don Bolles who was murdered on June 13, 1976 by a car bomb in Phoenix Arizona, his murder is though to be linked to the mafia. Don Dereeux was one of my most favourite guests on Unsolved Mysteries and I consider him a great hero and I am so happy that nothing sinister happend to him. I consider George Knapp who is the Chief Investigative Reporter at KLAS-TV Las Vegas and regular guest host of Coast To Coast AM Radio Show on the weekend to be a younger version and successor of Don Devereux.

Hate to disapoint you but I am not Don Devereux but a great admirerer and fan of his. I have always considered Don Devereux my favourite guest on Unsolved Mysteries and in many ways he was special because he appeared on not 1 but 2 episodes of Unsolved Mysteries which ware 1)The Charles Morgan Case and later 2)The Doug Johnson Case. In many ways Don Devereux is Unsolved Mysteries equivalent of Jaws, I am not talking about Jaws of the Jaws Movie Franchise, but Jaws the James Bond Movie Franchise. Jaws is the only villian in the history of the James Bond Franchise to eppear not just in 1 movie but 2 movies. Don Devereux is good and smarter version of Jaws if you can put it that way. I am very gratefull and thankfull that Don Devereux is still alive and well. Before I found out that Don Devereux was still alive when I found his website http://dondevereux.com/ I though he may have met with foul play just like his fellow investigative reporter Danny Casolaro. Danny Casoloaro's name was also metioned in 2 Unsolved Mysteries epsisodes too, 1)The Journalist Murder Case and 2)The Doug Johnson Case.

LONG LIVE AND GOD BLESS DON DEVEREUX.

I just rewatched that one on Pluto TV. I hadn't seen that episode in years. Even though I know for certain that I've seen every UM episode, that one was immemorable to me many years ago. This time, I was cracking up at how many times they were coupling our intelligence agencies with the mafia like they were one and the same, given the events that we have seen in the last few years and especially the information that the new administration has exhumed in the last few months.

Looks like his office address changed to the vets home in Yountville, CA. I did volunteer work here when I was in high school more than 20 years ago.

Funny enough, it’s where Chase Gioberti did his rehab after he was shot in Falcon Crest.

What!?! I could have sworn that he passed away years ago. I am so glad to see that I am wrong! I hope he lives to be 180, he is such a fascinating individual and made lots of friends in high places. I always respected him for following through on research on cases even if his life was in potential danger.

I'm almost positive I heard his name mentioned in Netflix series from last year American Conspiracy: The Octopus Murders, this show was in reference to
Danny Casolaro's death.

I’m sure he doesn’t want to live to be 180. 🤣
