View Full Version : Why should Bart Furley care about Jack living with two girls?

I was watching episode "The Love Lesson" on season 4. Ralph was teaching Jack to be "straight" and "macho". So when he assumed Jack crossed over to the male side, he said Jack would have to move out, because his brother wouldn't approve of a straight guy living with two girls. Bart was never around, we only seen him once, so why the hell would he care?! He seemed to busy to know who was living in his apartments. I could understand Mr. Roper, because he was nosy, lived underneath, and didn't have a life. I don't think Bart Furley would give two cents as to who was living there.

I don't think it had nothing to do with Bart, I think Furley wouldn't have been able to handle a straight guy getting some while he was down stars getting none-lol See when jack was gay furley didn't have a reason to be jealous-lol I will admit, if I noticed a straight guy cross from me living with two hot girls I would be hatin a little too-lol

I don' know. Ralph didn't have that kind of pull. Roper was the same way, he had a wife, and he didn't want any!

Because other people interested to live in the apartment complex would've been driven away by the "orgies" going on in 201 => loss of money for BF

Frankly I never liked the concept of Jack pretending to be gay, so that Furley (and Roper) would approve of his living with two women. That, along with Crissy being such a dingbat all the time just made the show silly. I know it was for entertainment, but in the real world, it's not really the landlord's business who you are living with, as long as you don't destroy the property or disturb the other tenants!
