I was reading a artical on Reba McEntire from People Magazein, just after her band were killed in a plane crash. It says that she was orginally suppose to be on that flight with her band, but her husbend urged her to stay and wait. This is a sad artical, I started crying.

Reba was really lucky and us Reba fans were also really lucky, if it wasn't for her husbend there would be no Reba or Barbara Jean or Van.
We love you Reba and are glad that you are still here with us!

Yeah, Reba's album "For My Broken Heart" was dedicated to her band members and tour manager who were killed in the crash. Here's a video from her tribute show a few years ago. Barbara Mandrell talks a bit about it and Trisha Yearwood performs an amazing and chilling version of "If I Had Only Known."

Yes, I suppose in a bittersweet way Reba was lucky, but then she had to deal with the overwhelming sorrow of this horrible tragedy.

That was such an awful tragedy. I really felt for her, but I bet it was hard for her to deal with; not only losing all of her band members, but the fact that she was saved simply by not being on the plane with them. I would feel guilty, to be honest, but that's just my feelings about it.

It does give the song "I'm A Survivor" a special kind of irony.
