According to Variety.com, actress Virginia Carroll –who starred opposite legendary film cowboys Gene Autry and Roy Rogers in numerous westerns– died of natural causes in Santa Barbara. She was 95. Carroll’s made her screen debut in the 1935 pic Roberta. Her first starring role was in A Tenderfoot Goes West. She also appeared on numerous television shows, including Dragnet, Leave it to Beaver and Perry Mason.
