View Full Version : Members from the Pacific Northwest (and Texas)
Schmoopie 07-30-2009, 04:27 AM I know a lot of you, but was just wondering how many of us are from the Pacific Northwest states or from Texas?
I only threw Texas in the mix because I was born and raised there.
I've been a "Seattle-ite" for 13 years and lived in Texas for 28 years before that.
There are a lot of guys like this :bd: in Texas, that's for sure!!!
I know it would be impossible to get ALL the SO members together, so it would be really cool if some of us PNW'ers could meet up sometime.
Oh, and that includes Canada by the way!!

Brad Russ 07-30-2009, 04:43 AM I was born in Seattle, but have lived here in Portland Oregon since age 5. I think your idea of a little get together sounds great!!!! I'd love to meet you, Ramona, and anyone else who may be from the great Northwest. :D
I was born in Spokane, and lived there up until two years ago.
Torgo 07-30-2009, 12:50 PM Born in Auburn, WA. Lived in Vancouver, WA for many years. Then Kent, WA for a few years. Then Vancouver WA again. Then Portland, then Boring, OR, now Sandy, OR.
Spent a lot of time in Seattle as a child because of having relatives there, then now because of relatives and friends visit there often.

Oh God, I think my house is worse!! After we get A/C I'll see if I can talk my husband into having a get together here. Or maybe not. Somewhere more central would be better.
I've only been to Spokane once, but I loved it. A couple of Thanksgivings ago, my husband and I went with Alki Tours out of Seattle to Spokane and stayed at The Davenport Hotel. It was so beautiful! We've taken several Alki Tours, but the only thing is that we are usually the only ones who are under 60!! I want to take Amtrak to Spokane sometime and stay in that hotel again. We are thinking of maybe doing that this Thanksgiving if I can get the time off from work.
Awesome to see all these PNW'ers and Texans!! Whoo hoo!!
