I just finished watching all 30 episodes on "The Lucy Show" Season 1 DVD compilation. I am so thrilled this series on DVD and I own it now! I can't wait for Season 2, and although I have no idea if CBS has plans for Season 2, we need to let the folks at CBS know how much we appreciate this first season compilation. Some of us had not-so-great expectations, but fortunately, it wound up being a great set and must have for any Lucy fan!

I think we should let the folks at CBS know how much we appreciate their efforts on The Lucy Show Season 1 set, and how much we look forward to a Season 2.

Take a moment and send Ken Ross a letter. With enough letters, they might put a rush on Season 2!

I think that's a great idea to thank CBS and the DVD producers for all the hard work they put into Season 1. CBS' contact info is located on www.TheLucyShowDVD.com. I also think while thanking them, we should give them a few suggestions of bonus material that would be great for Season 2.

"The Lucille Ball Comedy Hour"
"Opening Night" 1963
"The Great Show on Earth" - "Lady in Limbo"

All of the above happened during the second season and if it doesn't make it on the season 2 set, who knows if they will ever be released. It can be quite expensive to try to clear these shows when you have to pay the actors/writers/directors and also the music. So we should let them know how much we would really like to see them on the next set.

It would also be great to have new interviews with Carole Cook, Candy Moore & Ralph Heart. Everyone please start writing in! All of the letter writing made season 1 a reality so I know we can do it again!
