A live interview with Joan Rivers went horribly wrong on "Good Day Sacramento" this morning -- after a reporter pissed off the comic so much, that she killed the segment and dropped the F-Bomb on LIVE TV!!

It all went down after one of the reporters tried to crack a joke about Joan's daughter -- but Rivers wasn't laughing.

Instead, she cussed the guy out until the people at the show cut off her mic ... too little too late.

Funny you would think someone whose been a comedienne as long as Joan would have a sense of humor. She can sure dish it out but she can't take it!

Yeah I heard about this and I  at the video.

This isn't the first time she swore on live television.

Maybe she was having a bad day. After all, the next roast on Comedy Central is going to be Joan's. Those things are brutal and half of her stand up act involves making fun of herself.

Joan stopped being a comedienne years ago. She jumped the shark when she tried to strike out on her own by going behind Johnny Carson's back.

She used to have something resembling a career, but her thing as "red carpet commentator" is an even worse joke than her career in stand up. And the interviewer was speaking the truth -- Melissa Rivers did ride her mother's coattails and became a pseudo-celebrity as a result.

I don't think Johnny ever forgave Joan Rivers for that - did he?

I don't believe he did, Cat.

I just remembered how angry I was when I bought the first season of The Golden Girls on DVD and the special feature was a Fashion Commentary by Joan and Melissa.

Joan seemed to be in a fowl mood to begin with. She could have handled the situation more gracefully, but I also think the anchor was wrong to comment on her daughter.

I used to think Joan Rivers was really funny when I was young (talking the 70s here, folks) but later she became just an angry and cruel bully.

I think comedy should take on the powerful, not kick vulnerable people when they are down. When I heard her make a joke about Karen Carpenter (after she was dead) I just wrote this woman off. And for me, that's pretty much her whole shtick now, tasteless jokes about people's frailties.

Yeah, but her career's pretty much a joke itself these days. Doing the red carpet thing, etc. I think Johnny Carson must've put a curse on her. And her talentless daughter has ridden her coattails.

Can we tawk? Can we tawk? No, Joan.
