I pre-ordered and it says it is not being shipped until Aug. 3rd.
Yet, it says "in stock".

I got an email today confirming that it's been shipped. So I don't know why you've been told that.

I pre-ordered it a few weeks ago.

I contacted amazon yesterday and they replied saying they are going to ship on Aug. 3rd. They said they received more orders than they expected. I pre-ordered a while ago though. I should have been one of the ones they shipped to. I don't know what their system is. Just when I think they've become my favorite store, they do something like this to screw it up.

I received my email this evening saying it shipped via Fed Ex. The tracking for Fed Ex has an estimated delivery date of August 3rd. I preordered on June 6th.

I got mine in the mail yesterday.

I don't understand why I got mine ahead of you guys. Maybe someone there has a crush on me or something. ;)

They finally shipped mine too with a delivery estimate of Aug. 3rd as well. I pre-ordered on June 1st, I think. Funny, she said orders are filled on a first come first served basis. Well, I'm just glad it's on its way.

Adamantium, is the packaging & discs consistant with the Season 4 DVD-r release?

Yep. Three discs per case and two cases included.

The show was at it's wackiest, but I've really been enjoying the episodes.

One odd note, the final episode Charles Be Demille is third to last in this DVD order.

They must be placing them on the dvds by Production Order or something. I noticed on Season 4, Charles had his new basement apartment and then in the next episode they hadn't built it yet.

Thanks for the scoop on the set, Adamantium! It's great to finish off another series on dvd.

I got so excited finally having all the episodes on DVD that I started watching them in order. I'm still (obviously) on the Pembroke season. Boy, the show was different back then, lol. Charles was kind of a nerd, especially with those suspenders.

Got mine today. I watched the first two episodes. Shame this is the last season.

I haven't even got a shipping date for my Season 4 and 5 sets yet. Ordered on the 29th of July. Perhaps I shouldn't have cancelled my earlier pre-order, but Amazon has been moving the prices around, and I figured I might as well save a few dollars if I could. I have to wait another two weeks for the item to arrive by post, so another day or two delaying shipping wouldn't have mattered. Amazon should at least be able to provide a shipping date, or mark the item as "Out of stock" with an ETA if they can't manage ship it promptly.

I know how you feel. It feels like certain releases have been dealt with very poorly in terms of actual release dates/shipping estimates lately. It just happened to me yesterday with the 6th season of "Kate & Allie" and now it's been delayed for 2 weeks. There's no excuse for that (not that VEI has provided one). But if a company makes an announcement, they should have a better grasp on deadlines. I thought the big studios were bad. Now, I'm getting sick of the crap with the little ones.
