An arrest has been made and second-degree murder charges filed in the case of the hit-and-run accident that took the life of American Idol hopeful Alexis Cohen early Saturday morning.
Daniel Bark, 23, of Tom's River, N.J., was taken into custody Sunday at 6 p.m. on charges of causing the 25-year-old Cohen's death by reckless driving and leaving the scene of the accident in his 2005 Mitsubishi Gallant, reports New York's Daily News.
Bark's bail was set at $35,000. He is being held at the Ocean County Jail and could face 10 to 15 years in prison, if convicted, say authorities.
