I'm watching Bachelor Father and see that they moved (meaning they changed sets) at the beginning of the third season. That doesn't seem to happen a lot. I can only think of two others (I Love Lucy and The Mary Tyler Moore Show). Are there any more shows where the main characters moved during the show's run?

On Bewitched Sam and Darrin moved from an apartment to their own home during their 3rd or 4th episode.

There were a few house/apartment changes on One Tree Hill.

Mary Richards moved to a new apartment in season six of "The Mary Tyler Moore Show". Lucy Carmichael moved from Conneticut to California on "The Lucy Show". Lucy, Rickey, and little Rickey (and later the Mertz's) moved from New York City to Conneticut in the last season of "I Love Lucy".

Didn't Bob and Emily Newhart move in the last season of "The Bob Newhart Show"?

Laverne and Shirley along with Lenny and Squiggy and Frank and Edna moved from Milwaukee to California in season 5 of "Laverne and Shirley".

Hmm, I didn't even think of the obvious one until now...the Jeffersons definitely "moved on up"! ;)

Webster - The family moved from the cool apartment to the somewhat-creepy Victorian house after Webster accidently burned the apartment down. This happened about 1/3 of the way into the 2nd season.

Perfect Strangers - Balki and Larry moved in w/ their ladies from their apartment into a large Victorian house towards the end of the series.

Coach - They moved from Minnesota to Florida for the show's final 2 seasos when Hayden coached the fictional Orlando Breakers.

Murder, She Wrote - Angela Lansbery's character moved fro Maine to New York during S8.

Full House-Well they didn't move out of the house, but Joey moved from the basement room into Jessie/Michelle's old room. DJ moved into that room when Stephanie moved in to her room with Michelle. Jessie and Rebecca built an apartment upstairs in the house and moved into it.

Growing Pains-I can barely remember, but I think Mike Seaver got his own apartment in later seasons. Maybe not, though.

Cosby Show-Theo and Denise both moved out and got their own apartments

That's right. I can't believe I forgot about Joey sleeping in the alcove. One of my all-time favorite episodes is where they turn the garage into a room for him in Season One.

Gimme a Break! - The show moved from the Kanisky house in Glenlawn, CA to the apartment in New York City.

Hunter - When S7 rolled into town, both Hunter and Capt. Devane moved from Divisional Homicide to the LAPD Metro Division

Red Dwarf- The crew move into the Starbug for a season(series)

WKRP- Jennifer moves into a big house, but I think she later moves back to her apt.

Buck Rogers- Buck and the gang move onto the space ship Searcher the final season

Happy Days- Richie moves in with Chuck for an episode. Richie, Ralph, and Potsie move in together, Richie then moves back home. Fonzie moves in over the Cunningham garage. Didn't Fonz later move in with Ashley and her daughter?

In Spencer For Hire-the characters live in an old converted firehouse for one season. The firehouse used on the show was later used for the Real World: Boston season.

On Roseanne Jackie moved a few times. On Friends Pheobe moved of out Monica's apartment and with her grandmother. Later after losing a bet Monica and Rachel switch apartments with Joey and Chandler. Rachel later moves in with Pheobe after Chandler and Monica decide to live together and Rachel briefly lives with Joey. At one time Ross lived with Joey and Chandler.

On the TV movie Simon & Simon: In Trouble Again, they did move. They lived in Seattle from San Diego.

Mannix - Joe Mannix moved from Intertech to an office within a ploce station by S2.

Cagney and Lacey - In the late '80s seasons, Mary Beth and Harvey "Harv" Lacey moved into a slightly larger house from their apartment in NYC when Mary Beth Lacey had a daughter.

The Simpsons - Kurt Van Houten (Milhouse's father) moved from the house to a bachellor pad when he divorced from LuAnn.

Empty Nest - Harry Weston went from working in the Medical Center to working in the run-down Clinic in downtown Miami for the show's final 2 seasons.

Mike and Gloria on "ALL IN THE FAMILY" moved out of the Bunkers house and into the Jeffersons old house, then out to California. Later after they got divorced Gloria moved back to New York with their son Joey.

As far as I Love Lucy, I would consider when they went to California, a temporary move, since they were there so long, almost a whole season.

A Different World - Dwayne and Whitley moved into their house from their dorms at the campus once they both got married and graduated from college.

Ron also moved when he began dating Freddie in the final season, I think.

Also Dwayne and Ron also moved into another dorm room around the tail end of S2 or the very beginning of S3 I think.
